were in production until 1992 with the last one being Erotica. Record stores and manufacturers stopped making them because they wanted to be more environmentally sound. They thought it was too much packaging for a CD, so they removed and destroyed all the longboxes and packaged CDs they way you see them today.
Here is a custom edition of Madonna’s MDNA in a longbox format, just as if it were to be made back in ’90’s.
